The Greatest Journey 3

We returned once again to the Greatest Journey suite for our May classes. We created four cards, one that is interactive and three regular cards. All four are simple in design.

First I'll share the interactive card - it lights up!

The video below shows the card when lit. Press on the figure and the moon shines down…

Our second card is, what I would call, a positive/negative image. Half of the image is stamped in fresh freesia ink onto white card, the other half is stamped and embossed in white onto fresh freesia card. This gives a fresh looking card. I particularly like this method when done in a simple monochrome of black and white. The lighting on this photo is a little dark, the actual card is lighter and brighter.

Our third and fourth cards were cased/inspired by Linda Cullen (CraftStampin, com) and Jackie VanderSar-Boot (Pampered Stamper) respectively.
I love the shadow on Linda’s card created by cutting around the mountains and mounting them on stampin' dimensionals.

I'm going to pop a moon on there, I think.

My take on Jackie’s card was also simpler, although I did mess with it a little after the classes had ended and changed it up to be a new home card.

Here is the class card…

And here it is as a new home card - daft, but it will suffice!

I hope you've enjoyed the cards I've share today.

Happy crafting!

Lesley
