The Last Seasonal Cards of 2022!
The cards for my December class included some patterned paper - Metallic and Shimmer Specialty Paper. Whilst the cards didn't have a New Year sentiment, I felt sure that if they did then the DSP would be perfect!
We combined the cards with stamps from a Christmas kit (Cozy & Bright), although we used very little other items from the kit. This ensured that, apart from the class cards, the ladies would also have ample supplies in the kit to make a further batch of cards. All sentiments are from the kit.
The sentiment on the first card is a little corny but I love the way it works with the DSP and a couple of embellishments from the kit.
The following two cards would, with the right sentiment, make super new year cards, simply from the effect of the DSP!
My final card, a fun fold, uses the same stamp set which we used in class during November - the host set Carolling Mice. It's a 3D card with the front frame embossed.
The image has been coloured with various Stampin' Blends, the background has been created by blending shades of blue ink and crumb cake ink and then stamping with our white craft ink pad.
I've included a list of those products used which are still current, in hte images below.
I do hope you've enjoyed seeing the last of my 2022 Christmas cards. The layouts and fold can be used on any other type of card.
Until next time, happy crafting!
