Balconies of Foliage
Today's card is a birthday card for a dear friend who is also a demo. She tends to go for more feminine cards than the style I typically choose, so it got me scratching my head a little.
I ended up going for a fun fold card matted with patterned paper from the In Good Taste pack then decorated with stamps and die cuts from Forever Fern.
I used various green inks for the foliage and magenta madness for the flowers. But, of course, you could use just one green if you prefer.
The fun fold is one I've seen on a few sites but I got my sizing from a lady called Sam Calcott. The fold is a multi tiered fun fold card. Along with the foliage, I've created balconies of foliage.
As you can see, I got a little carried away with the die cuts. Once I started adding them, I forgot to stop!
The sentiment is a fine line but heat embossed beautifully in silver....
Here I share a side view. It's almost like looking at a cross section of a stadium.
And, of course, no naked envelope!
Coincidentally, the In Good Taste patterned paper is on our last chance retiring list and there is an £8 saving on each pack whilst stock lasts. Bargain! Magenta madness and just jade will also be retiring as they are retiring In Colours, not around for too much longer!!!
I'll post a supply list below for those of you wishing to view items more clearly or to purchase.
I hope you've enjoyed today's post. Be sure to check out the product list below!
Happy crafting,
