Paper Blooms Fun Folds

Morning Crafters!

My plans for this month's classes went awry, I eventually had to go forward with Plan C and am sharing the cards with you today.

We made 3 simple fold cards and a regular A6 card focussing on the recent Saleabration DSP (patterned paper) - Paper Blooms.  Hoping to show off this pretty paper. You can see it in the image below.

Our first card is a Diamond Flip Card. Some of the ladies found this a little daunting at first but I've found that once you've got the idea into your head then you can complete one very quickly. Now, I have to say that the DSP I chose for this one is probably my least favourite in the pack but I am always mindful that not everyone likes the same things that I do.

I'm not quite sure of the name for the following fold so for now have called ti a Graduating 3 Panel Card as that seems to aptly describe it.

Our third card is a Front Flap Card. As with the recent dragonfly card in the same fold, I opted to stick down the side flaps rather than cut them away as I believe this gives more stability to the finished card.

Our final card has an embossed front - both the DSP and the card it is mounted on are embossed together. I rarely see cards which have had the DSP embossed.

My sentiments are stamped and diecut using the Many Messages bundle - how super quick to stamp once, die cut once and be left with 18 sentiments to use! I also used various punches, some of which are retired and also the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.
Since the ladies would have a fair few pieces of cardstock and DSP left over after completing the cards, I also added mini envelopes and cardstock to create either mini cards or matching gift tags. I left them to design these themselves and can't wait to see what they've created.
Below I've added a list of the supplies used, apart from the DSP which retired with the end of Saleabration. Should you wish to view any more clearly or purchase, simply click on the image.

Happy crafting this weekend!
