Wedding Card for Hikers
The son of one of my closest and oldest friends was getting married. He and his bride are keen on outdoor pursuits including hiking. Wouldn't have surprised me if they'd arrived at the wedding in hiking boots...only joking. I tried to make an alternative style card with their love of the outdoors in mind.
This is the finished card, sadly it isn't a great photo...
Inside the card the wording has been colourmatched on my printer.
The whisper white base card has been embossed with the Woodland embossing folder. On spare white card I then created a frame and inner piece using the stitched rectangles dies. Onto the inner piece I stamped images from the Waterfront stamp set to create a scene, I thought that one of the sentiments ' Love never gives up' was a good one to use. I assembled the pieces so that the inner stamped piece was glued to the card front and the frame raised on foam adhesive strips. The words 'forever' and 'adventure' were die cut from sahara sand card using the Sweet Silhouettes dies.
I wish them both a very happy start to their married life and a wonderful future together full of adventures!
