Floating Frame Magnolia
Todays card was made way back in May for a good friends birthday. It's a floating frame card using the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.
On this card the magnolia flower and leaves are floating on window sheet/acetate as I wanted to heat emboss the sentiment behind it. You could also float the images on vellum or any other cardstock of choice.
The main stamp set is Good Morning Magnolia (available as a buncle with the dies to make cutting even easier! Purchased as a bundle makes the items cheaper too!), the sentiment from the now retired Everything is Rosy which is heat embossed in gold. I love the huge flower in this 2 box set. I fact, both flowers on this card are from the same set. There is also another magnolia set called Magnolia Blooms which you could use to get similar flowers. Magnolia Blooms is not in our main or seasonal catalogues but can be found in our 2019–2020 Beginner Brochure (although the bloom in this set is somewhat smaller).
The leaves are coloured with Stampin' Blends in Mosy Meadow - both light and dark. The flower is coloured with Rich Razzleberry watercolour pencils and an aquapainter with Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend in the centre, all mounted onto Mossy Meadow cardstock.
At the foot of this post you can find a list of the product used on this project so that you can make it too! Click on any of them to shop for the item online - it's that simple!
I had been planning to run a class with this card but time has simply flown by! I can't believe we're already in October - at least this card reminds us of warmer days!
