Pretty Floral Essence


Back in May we were able to purchase the very pretty Everything Is Rosy Medley. I loved everything about it - the lush papers, vibrant ribbon, rose gold elements and shimmer paint, and the stamp set. 
Whilst this medley might now be retired it's simply so very useful and the font is too pretty not to use so I pulled it out to use one of the sentiments for a birthday card. I coupled it with the lovely flower stamps in Floral Essence, grouping the flowers together by using the masking technique.
Rather than the strong night of navy and melon mambo colourway which is often used with this set, I opted for the softer tone of blushing bride with mossy meadow to ground it. 


The inside has been stamped with leaves to add a little interest.


Of course, you can't have a naked envelope!


Here's hoping the recipient thought the stamped images are as pretty as I do!
