Sailing Home Monthly Class
Last month my Sailing Home bundle got a work out. I love this suite and used it for both my fun fold class (which I shared recently) and my monthly Just For Fun classes. Not just stamps and dies but also super patterned paper, twine, Memories & More cards and trinkets.
Below you can see some of the items in the Memories and More pack.
Some people find masculine cards difficult. To be honest, I prefer them to the frilly, frothy, girly cards. Whether you find cards for the man/men in your life easy or a struggle, the Sailing Home suite fits the bill.
Each of the ladies received a pack of the Memories and More cards - 50 cards in each pack makes for a lot of greeting cards! We kept ours fairly simple but you could add more elements to suit. Unfortunately the photos aren't as good as I'd like them to be.
The first card shows one of the Memories & More cards (MM) along with patterned paper, some die cuts and the twine.
On this next card we used one of the laser cuts as a stancil/mask to sponge ink through thus creating a background. Add some stickers, a card and some braided linen twine and you're good to go!
Our third card is simply a card from the pack, mounted (as before) on a card base with some added stickers.
A little more on this notecard. First stamp the birds. Roughly tear some balmy blue card, adhere to the back of one of the laser cut cards to create the sea. Add some stickers, both the boat and sentiments, attach to card base on stampin' dimensionals.
Finally, take the laser cut card that you used as a stencil/mask earlier on, attach it to a card base. Add some twine and stickers along with a lighthouse which has been fussy cut from a card in the pack.
Five simple and easy cards....and so many more in the pack still to use!
Why not try using Memories and More cards when you're next stuck for a card. They are great value!
