Some of you may remember the faceted baubles I made this time last year for our Onstage event. I showed them to my ladies at the time and they were well received. With this in mind I thought it would be a god idea to have them make them for this month's Just For Fun.
Not knowing how much time they'd need, I designed just one card too in case they had time on their hands!
In the event, some of the ladies managed both and others only managed to complete the bauble. I forgot to take photos so will show you my own, once again.
The original one was made by a lady called Samantha Clayton who is a UK demonstrator. She sealed hers closed and hung it from a tree. The instructions I followed were by Julie DiMatteo, a US demonstrator, who left the top unsealed so that it could be used as a gift box.
The ladies made theirs in cherry cobbler and mossy meadow card. They chose their decorative DSP from a couple of Christmas packs so that each was slightly different.
Here is the card I prepared for them.
The white panel is embossed with the woodland folder, the embellishments are die cut using the Pretty Pines thinlits with mossy green and lovely lipstick card and vellum punched with the sprigs punch. The centre is die cut with a stitched shapes thinlit and stamped with a an image from the Swirly Frames stamp set and a sentiment from the Merry Christmas To All stamp set. Finished off with a rhinestone.
As usual, I'm way behind with my own Christmas cards so this one will sure come in handy.I hope your preparations are more organised than mine! Have a good week,
Lesley
