Today I'm sharing the final 6 cards from Winter Stamp Camp 2018. As you will see, they're not all red and green! But I hope that doesn't detract from the seasonal greetings.
The first card caused me a little grief. It went missing early in the afternoon. None of us could find it. Thankfully, a couple of ladies had already made their own so we used one as a replacement sample. The original has since come to light but has yet to wing it's way back to me so I've taken a photo of the replacement sample to share here.
The base card is mint macaron. The top white layer has been die cut using the Blizzard Thinlits Die. The snowflakes were put aside for use on two other cards. The main piece has had tranquil tide velvet ribbon wrapped around each end then glued to the base card. The sentiment has been die cut from a piece of tranquil tide glimmer paper (part of the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper pack) with the Merry Christmas Thinlits dies. Once glued to the white snowflake panel, rhinestones were added to finish the card front.
Our DSP packs this year have quite a lot of different checks and plaids on them. I chose one of these from the Festive Farmhouse DSP pack to put on the front of this next card. I stamped onto the busy check several times with a large fir tree stamp from the Winter Woods stamp set.
This has then been layered onto tranquil tide card before being glued to a whisper white base card. Simple and homely looking, reminding us of times passed.
Now for a bit of glitz!
A white base card which has a layer of fun DSP from Under The Mistletoe DSP pack, which has white deer on it. This has been paired with copper glimmer paper from the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper Pack.
The centre pieces have been die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies onto which a leaping deer ( die cut with Detailed Deer Thinlits) has been added. The final touch is the wood 'merry' embellishment from the Festive Farmhouse Elements Pack. I've left it in the pale colour in which it arrives to add some softness to the bling and tone it down a little.
The fifth card is a CASE of a card created by Cécile Ribon. There is a small difference in the embellishment as I've used the Sprig Punch and Pretty Pines Thinlits on my card. The wreath shape is made by using a die from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. I thought the original was lovely and hope that Cécile would like my take on her creation.

With such a busy background the card doesn't need a plethora of embellishment. A simple tag stamped (using stamps from the Nature Sings stamp set) in coordinating colours and a little gold metallic edge ribbon - the soft vanilla matching both base card and DSP - and the card is done.
There I was, saying the cards are not all in red and green, only to find that this following card will be the third consecutive card with green!
A simple stamped, and water coloured layer using stamps from Farmhouse Christmas onto water colour cardstock.

We've now come to the last card and another which I loved as soon as I saw it. Again, only a minor change on this one - the original was all in grey granite - as I felt the original was perfect! Thank you Melody Tess!
Base card in grey granite, topped with merry merlot. The whisper white has been stamped in grey granite with stamps from Winter Woods. The trees are a separate piece which is attached with stampin' dimensions. Merry merlot and copper reversible ribbon and a sentiment in merry merlot ink finish this card.
Now I've shared the last of the Winter Stamp Camp 2018 cards with you.
I think you'll agree that it's a varied bunch! I hope you found something to inspire you to get crafting and send that handmade card to your loved ones this season.
This is class week and next week life gets a little more back to normal....whatever 'normal' is! All being well, I'll be running Coffee and Card in Costa, Goldsworth Park. I will have more cards to share with you.
In the meantime, have a good week and get crafty!
