Looking Rosy!


It's funny how it happens. A colour that you don't lean towards and doesn't figure often in your card making but you go to your phone to check out the photos that aren't yet blogged and up pops that colour or shade...twice!
So it was with the cards I share today.
I'm talking about berry shades.

The first is a birthday card for colleague who is part of another team.



The base card is Fresh Fig which has a layer of Very Vanilla and some  Petal Promenade DSP on top. Wrapped around these layers is a piece of Rich Razzleberry velvet ribbon.
The sentiment, from Big Wishes, is stamped in Fresh Fig ink onto Very Vanilla which has been die cut with a Stitched Shapes Framelit. I've added a few sequins and coloured the stamped bow in using Fresh Fig ink mixed with a little of our Frost White Shimmer Paint (Four colours available from the Autumn/Winter catalogue).
And, of course, the envelope is stamped too!

Here is the inside, trimmed with scraps trimmed from the DSP that has been 
used on the card front. The greeting is from Big Wishes.


Not exactly the same colours but definitely 'in the pink' - these simple little notecards were made to thank my colleagues who'd recently 'come to my rescue' when I needed more supplies in a flash! So lucky to be part of a super team!
