Having recently held a workshop where I made pull tag/tab cards by changing up some of the samples in the annual catalogue, I decided to make some more and have my ladies create them at our monthly classes.
The stamp set used is Animal Outings along with coordinating dies.
Now, one of the fab things about these dies is that they not only match the stamp set but also some of the images on the DSP from the same suite - how cool is that! See image below...
So, some of the cards will look familiar, as they're CASED whilst others will be fresh to you.
This first was, until I made the set, my favourite. It was the one image in the catalogue that drew to the bundle.
As you can see, I changed it into a pull tag/tab card. I particularly loved the colour combo.
The kangaroo was stamped, die cut and then coloured with watercolour pencils. DSP and leaf ribbon complete the card.
The rhino on this one makes me want to laugh! I love the fresh clean look of this card, even though it has busy DSP on it.
It's another that has the option for a hidden message so I left the tag empty until I needed to use the card.
The rhino wasn't stamped and coloured but merely die cut from the DSP. The DSP has rhino's facing both left and right so I would have had to fussy cut if I chose one facing in the opposite direction!
This is the last CASED card and was a popular colour combo with most of the ladies. I loved it even more in real life, the colours really pop. Again, there is the option for a hidden message on the secret tag that has a nice ribbon pull on it.
My petal pink card doesn't have any hidden messages. The tiny cameo inside the frame is punched straight from the DSP, so easy!
The final project was 4 tags. However, I didn't attach any ribbon as I thought they'd make great toppers on cards. These were such fun to make and are probably my favourite class project this month.
Each tag, punched from white card using the tag punch from my stash (now retired), has had branches and leaves randomly stamped in grey granite ink which have then been coloured with Stampin' Blends. There is a really cute little frog on the branch and I did stamp him but, when my heavy hand coloured him in he looked like a extra from Shrek! He's now neatly hidden under one to the fussy cut images. Some of the animal images have been die cut since some dies also work with some of the DSP images. Embellishments are from the frames elements.
I can see that I'll be using these stamps and dies again so have safely stashed them away, including storing the dies on a magnetic sheet in their wallet as I wouldn't want to risk losing any pieces!
Do try this stamp set and dies...the DSP and leaf ribbon too! Oh, and don't forget the frames elements. They coordinate so wonderfully together!
If you'd like to shop for these goodies, they are all available in my online shop - access by the tab on the right if you're viewing my blog or above if your reading on the website.
I'll also place a 'shop' button below for you and a list of images with links. Alternatively, just click on the name of any item in the above text and you'll be taken to the exact product in my shop! It's that easy!
Have a super weekend,

The card above was the one I made for the workshop The class ladies could change up the colours to suit as they each had a half pack of DSP.

The sentiment fits that tiny wooden frame element perfectly! Embellished with leaves punched with the leaf punch. And here's the little hidden message tag...
