Whenever we launch a new catalogue I order products that I like and think my ladies might like too. This can sometimes mean that it takes me ages to get round to opening and using everything.
This past week I had another Coffee and Card session in Costa, my local coffee shop, so I thought I'd use a set that I bought during pre order back in August. Called Tabs For Everything, I thought it would be a most useful set, along with the coordinating punch (see image below), but when I opened it I was stumped. Some of the images are tiny, though they fit the punch perfectly.
I played around with the set and some of this years In Colours and ended up quite pleased with the result. A fun card in zingy colours.
I needed to stamp the inside too, just a small, matching border to continue the theme.
Now that I've tried it, I think this set might be a very useful one after all! Some of the ladies liked the unusual shaped card, I can see me using this shape on another occasion.Sometimes it isn't easy to see the possibilities of a stamp set when we flip through the catalogue and we tend to navigate towards the obvious images but give this set a go, you might be glad you did!
Here are some photos of a few ladies crafting the card with me.
When bought as a bundle you save 10% off the individual prices of stamps and punch. Shop for them here, as a bundle or individual items, just click on the links below:
If you'd like to join in one of my Coffee and Card sessions, my next event will be on Tuesday 24th October, drop in between 10 am - 11.30 am. Cost is £5 and includes a small drink.
I hope you're enjoying your weekend, we're off to take Lily our (rather large) puppy to the beach.
