Many of us join Stampin' Up! for the discount. When we get used to having the discount on such fabulous products we tend to stay on, initially as 'hobby demos' in as much as we buy just for ourselves and sometimes have a friend or family member buy too. We start to enjoy the many friendships and fun in the world of Stampin' Up! and don't want to leave. That's how it was for me and countless others. That's how it was for my first team member too!
This week marked her 5 year anniversary with Stampin' Up!. She'll receive a certificate and pin from the company but I wanted to celebrate the occasion too.
With this in mind, I made her a card and sent it to her along with a gift to mark the occasion.

As many of you know, photography is not especially my strong point so I'm hoping that the next photos shows the card a little clearer.
The base is Elegant Eggplant. The centre panel is watercolour paper with Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum ink applied using a water brush. I used the large flourish stamp from Star of Light, heat embossed in gold, with Wink of Stella brushed around it to give shimmer. The balloons are stamped and heat embossed using one of the balloon stamps in Happy Birthday Gorgeous, mounted on dimensionals, with gold twine (retired) added. The whole panel is edged in gold foil card. The sentiment and oval behind were die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
I value all my team members and wanted Cathryn to have a little something from me to remember her day!
