Today is a special lady's birthday. She always makes such fabulous cards that I'm loathe to create anything for her. But I can't let the day just slip by.
This past week I've revisited the shaving foam technique. The results are always different and I really loved the colours on this latest one so decided to use it on the birthday card.

I'd hoarded a little of the Bermuda Bay glimmer card from Saleabration as it was so difficult to part with. Here I've used it with the background I'd made and a homemade birthday topper, created with our die from the new catalogue - Happy Birthday Thinlets. I cut the die 5 times in Whisper White cardstock and once in Bermuda Bay. I then stuck the white ones on top of each other, slightly offset, finishing with the Bermuda Bay. Stacking like this gives it depth. To give it a glossy finish I traced over the letters with our Fine Tip Glue Pen and let it dry before assembling.
If you'd like a copy of the catalogue then do contact me. It will go live on 1st June and is chock full of goodies!
I hope Kim likes her card - mahoosive happy birthday, my friend!!!
