Hello, welcome to the Stampin' Creative Blog Hop. This month's theme is Sneak Peek, we give you a glimpse into the colourful world of our new annual catalogue which is released on the 1st June. By the way, if you want a copy and don't yet have one, please get in touch, I'll be happy to help!
If you've hopped here from Kim's blog, having been given an inspirational shake to your creative senses, or started the hop here, it's good to have you visit!
In our preorder we get to choose from a small selection of new products, some of us were also lucky to win goodies at the recent Onstage event.
You may have already seen one of our new In Colours - Dapper Denim - on the turtle easel card I made for World Turtle Day (http://lellyjellys.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/world-turtle-day-2015.html), a fabulous blue and such a useful shade!
My first card is using the new Flirty Flamingo In Colour. On this I've mounted black card which has a piece of DSP from our new Playful Palette stack attached. The easel is one of the stamps in the Painters Palette set. Rather than use a stamp in the centre of the easel I've chosen to pen a motivational quote. This 'empty' space is great for so many things - write or stamp a greeting, stamp an image, add a photo or an embellishment. The paint palette is punch art using the large oval punch. Onto this I've stuck small punched circles of each new In Colour to resemble paint.
The following card is made with another of our new In Colours - Sweet Sugarplum, which I've embossed with the Large Polka Dot folder. The flower embellishment is made from one of our new embossing folders (there are 2 in the pack) called Floral Affection. It's been inked then with Sweet Sugarplum and Emerald Envy ink, embossed onto white card and cut out. The sentiment is from the stamps in the Oh Happy Day Card Kit and has been embossed with copper embossing powder. The flowers have Wink of Stella on them but it doesn't show i the photos.
Coordinating treat bag, with a little thick white bakers twine added. The sentiment is from Pop of Paradise stamp set.
I don't always choose Hostess sets, but they are such good value items for a hostess to purchase from her Stampin' Rewards. The Hostess set I've used below is called Pun Intended. There are 3 picture stamps in this set, each has a few coordinating sentiments to enable you to ring the changes. I'm showing you just one today.
The light bulb has been finished with Crystal Effects (eeking out the last drops now that this item has retired!).
I hope my post has given you a couple of ideas, thank you for visiting. Now to hop on to Emma's blog, which is sure to inspire you, click on the link below or on her name.
