Hello, welcome to this month's blog hop!
Whether you've hopped here from Pip and been hopping around full of inspiration or if you're starting here, no matter! It's good to have your company.
This month we're focussing on retiring favourites. Well, you could find so many things to include but, due to time restraints, I've had to choose just one - the Going Global suite.
Boy, I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this fabulous paper and stamp set. The paper includes one of my all time favourite colours - Lost Lagoon. I want to cry real tears at the thought of it going! Crazy, yes, I know!
So, what to make???
What do you think of this.....
It's called a Split Top Box. I saw it on Splitcoast Stampers recently. The original on there was by Joann Jamieson. I do need to embellish the lid a little.
Here you get a better idea .
This size was perfect for our notelets. I cut co-ordinating card to make notelets rather than use our pre-cut items.
Here are the cards....
Obviously, I would stamp the envelopes to match too to make a set.
I apologise if the photos are a little skewwiff - it's now almost 2am and I've only just finished and got the post complete.
I do hope you've enjoyed stopping by today - if you have, it would be great if you'd leave a comment!
Talking of comments - we have a GIVEAWAY!!!!

DeleteWe will certainly be lost without this lovely subtle colour. I confess to being a late starter where it is concerned but having made several cards with it now at classes I think it's lovely.

DeleteI am right there with you - so sad that Going Global is retiring! And although I knew the DSP stack would have to go, I'm sad able t that too. Love your use of DSP and what a brilliant idea to cut the notecard bases - I don't think I would have thought of that! I'm definitely going to be making some gift sets to hand out. Caro x
ReplyDeleteThanks Caro. We best both get crafting quick to get them done! Lol!
ReplyDeleteLove these Lesley, I am so sad that this set is going, but love your use of DSP. I always seem to get the DSP, lovingly look at it and stroke it but can't think how to use on my projects so thank you for the inspiration x
