Stampin Stars Blog Hop
Good morning! Welcome to our Stampin' Stars Blog Hop. You may have arrived here from Louise's blog, she always has fab projects to share. Wherever you start on this hop, it really doesn't matter. Sit back with a cuppa and enjoy - you can't get lost - it goes in a loop! I'll explain all at the end of this post.
Today I'd like to share not only a brand new stamp set with you but also brand new colours and a new punch. How's that!
I've been playing with the new Label Love set of stamps (and matching Artisan Label Punch). The stamps are on page 33 of the new catalogue. There are 7 stamps in the set, in today's post I'll be showing 2 of them.
My first card is a wedding card in shades of very vanilla and basic grey. You can't quite see that the vanilla is embossed. Lately it seems to be the fashion to have a sweetie stall or table at weddings, so my little favour holds chocolate. Not glamorous but I wanted to keep it simple,it fits the bill and matches the card.
You'll have to take my word that it looks much smarter in real life!
It's taken a little while for some of the new In Colours to grow on me. I instantly warmed to Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana so they would be easy for me to choose. the I saw some zingy cards on the Inking Idaho blog where Becky used strawberry slush with coastal cabana and whisper white. I will unashamedly tell you that I've CASE'd these cards, making only slight variations - possibly not visible to the human eye, because they just jumped right out of the screen at me! I'm sharing here and have made a matching gift box. There are 2 photo's (since many of you know about me and my 'fuzzifoto's), one shows both items......
Finally, just a glimpse of something I've been working on. Many of you will have seen the recent 'This 'n That' promotion. I've started to fill my book, it looks like a 10 year old has been playing with it. But the reason that I want to share a little here is that I've used the brand new ABC 123 Outline Alphabet & Numbers and ABC 123 Sketch Alphabet & Numbers stamp sets (page 131). These sets can be used alone or together, as I've attempted to do with my title down the right hand side of the page. Here are two photo's - the first showing the stamped word in context, the second a close up.
Not the best example of stamping or lining up - should have worn my specs when using my stamp-a-majig! You really have popped into my personal world here!
Thank you for visiting, I hope you enjoy our blog hop.
Below are to buttons to take you both to the next fab blog, which is Kate's, and to the previous one, should you prefer to go anti-clockwise or have not visited Louise. Neither should be missed!

and the other is a close up of the card where you can see that I've punched and aperture for the stamp to sit behind.
